W. Reginald Wheeler
Description
Rev. W. Reginald Wheeler (1889-1963) was a Christian missionary and educator who served in China after graduating from Harvard University with his M.A. in 1915. He served in China from 1915 to 1921 (at Peking University) and returned again in 1932 and stayed until hostilities broke out in 1937 (University of Nanking). He served as Secretary of the Board of Foreign Missions of the Presbyterian Church from 1923 to 1932 and again from 1938 to 1942.
